Education is the heart of our work. The ‘food system transformation’ sector has led social and ecological sustainability for decades. However, people are becoming more aware of the burden of the industrial system due to its contribution to our greatest societal challenges.
Understanding food systems is a slow process, a constant unlearning and relearning. It needs to be understood in a contextual comprehensive way. Systemic change takes time and a commitment to expand awareness and direct attention towards the radical culture-shift we want to see. The ‘food system transformation’ sector is big and complicated with many conflicting narratives and overwhelming greenwashing. TFN was established as a self-empowering
tool to help the average person better understand these narratives and discover their role within the ‘food system transformation’ movement. We offer resources that provide a comprehensive, broad picture perspective and guide people towards approachable solutions.
Resources are housed on different pages through this website. We encourage readers to spend time exploring the range of information. There is a person and community, with a powerful story, behind everything we share. Our content is rooted in integrity, sovereignty and empowerment.
